Every Chesscul group is taught live by a qualified chess teacher in English. Alberto Toval, founder and head teacher, is a 2000+ FIDE Elo player and Superior Monitor with FADA, with over 15 years of competitive and teaching experience. Chesscul has grown to over 100 active students and been covered by more than 200 media outlets across Spain and Latin America. Carmen María López leads the beginner groups with specialist expertise in younger learners and adult beginners. Luis Troughton teaches the intermediate groups, focusing on the tactical and strategic development that helps players break through plateaus and compete more effectively.

Regular, structured coaching from a qualified teacher has been limited in Limerick to those connected to the active club circuit.
